The former Presbyterian Hospital building on Randolph Road in Albuquerque is being remodeled as a residential facility for children. The project includes an elevated gymnasium with structural challenges requiring creativity and precision in the engineering design. Construction is scheduled for the second half of 2017. The intention was to create a visually simple structure with clean lines that would allow for transit across highway 285, and at the same time feature a mural honoring local traditions and culture.
